what's up with the achievements? I'm through level 5 and didn't get my achievement for level 4? BS! i know of at least one other person who did not get several achievements. anyone else experience this?

I didn't mind the cost & paid $600.00 for a few reasons:
-I knew the games would come eventually
-I still have a buttload of ps2 games to play on it.
-I have a 360 to keep me busy
-I wanted a blu-ray player.
based on that, i thought the price was justified, now the games are finally coming out and it's just groovy
this makes sense, sony expects to have shipped 11m by early next year. I'd say with a worldwide price cut and a solid lineup come x-mas, that number does not seem far fetched at all.
I'm starting to igonore game reviews now, just i like ignore movie reviewers, the movies they say suck are good, what they say is good ends up being a snoozefest.
I'm afraid that if it comes out this year, it will over shadow some other ps3 exclusives that will be released around the same time.

i don't understand what these people have against great games. HS is a solid 9/10, and the only thing holding it back is that it isn't longer. though it's much longer than the 5.5 hrs people are claiming.
realistically i'd say 8-10 hrs, i haven't started playing hell mode but i'd imagine that would take longer.
why are you xbots infesting this thread? To say Tomb raider legend looks better than this game is pure jealousy. I've beaten legend and it's an awesome game, but graphically has nothing on uncharted.
As far as gears, check out my gamertag i play that game enough, i'm 2000 kills away from seriously. as great as the game is, it's not very original, it may have perfected some of the techniques but that just mean it borrowed them from other games.

Stupid comparison, they choose an outdoor level vs an enclosed level. NG2 isn't even finished and i'm sure will look a bit better than sigma, at least i hope so since it will have some fierce competition when it's released.

as much as people hate to admit, RFOM is also the complete package. Great campaign mode and killer multiplayer. The only thing it lacks is 4-player co-op, i'm sure RFOM:2 will have that.
RFOM is one of the best FPS i've ever played and i think Halo 3 is right up there with it.
